Finding Your Revolutionary War Relatives
June 10 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
In celebration of America 250, “Finding Your Revolutionary War Relatives” will provide an overview of the types of records useful for genealogical research in Pennsylvania during the Revolutionary War-era, and where to find those records today. We’ll discuss the difference between service in a local militia and the Continental Line, and the types of records each generated. We’ll also examine pension application files and bounty land records, focusing especially on the donation lands now within Lawrence County.
This is an In Person Event.
