These vintage photographs are in three albums, likely originally owned by father and son, David Hayes (1815-1888) and John W. Hayes (1843-1914) of North Beaver Township, Beaver County (modern-day Lawrence). The albums are currently owned by my second cousin once removed in Winchester, VA. She has allowed me to photograph and post the unidentified photographs in the hopes that they will be identified.
Several of the same photos are in all three albums. Some of the same people are photographed at different times.
Some of the photographs use the same table and backdrop. This indicates the photographs were taken at the same location, if not on the same day.
The current owner of the albums did not want to attempt to take the photograph out of the album to check if they were labeled on the back. So the photographer is unknown. Some of the photographs were hand-colored or had hair drawn in.
